Seaford Bonfire Event Information

We want everyone attending our event to have a safe and enjoyable time.

Please follow directions from our Marshals and Event Security team at all times.

They are there to keep you safe.

When watching the procession stay well back on the pavement for your own safety and NEVER pick up discarded torches as they will be very hot. These will be collected by the torch picking team following the end of the procession.

Do not attempt to join or disrupt the procession as you will be removed by our marshals

By arrangement with Seaford Town Council the unmade section of Cliff Gardens will be closed to Vehicle Traffic from Wednesday 18th until Sunday 22nd October.

This is to enable us to work safely in this area.

Pedestrian access through this area will not be affected during the build and break periods.

Please be aware of Heavy Plant and other Event vehicles that will be operating around the area during the build and break phases.

Please note that although there are no additional planned road closures during the build and break period it may be necessary to restrict access or hold traffic to facilitate parts of out event operations prior to the event day.

Areas around Martello fields will have access restrictions or be closed to the public during our build and break period. We ask for your co-operation during these times and please follow direction from our Fire-site and Event Operations team.

Unfortunately there is no designated Disabled parking available at the event. We do try to accommodate Blue Badge holder vehicles within our road closure on the seafront, however once this parking is full we are unable to accommodate further vehicles.

Background music is played on our PA system at the firesite. Aside from testing of the PA system the onsite music will commence from 20:00 and will cease at 22:00

We thank you in advance for your co-operation and hope that everyone attending has a fantastic night celebrating with us.
